Filtering A Map

The Standard edition of MindVisualizer allows you to filter a Visual Map for a specified string. When filtered, only the matching topics will be shown, others will be hidden.

·     Invoking the filter sidebar. To start filtering, do any of the following to show the filter sidebar:
·     Select menu Edit > One-Click Quick Filter.
·     Click the filter button graphic on the upper-right of the map area, next to the close button.
·     Press <Ctrl + K>.

·     Live filtering. When the filter sidebar is opened, the map will be filtered instantly when you input text in the input box under the caption By Text.

·     Filtering options. Additionally options are provided for flexibility.

·     Notes. Also matches Text Notes when filtering by string.

·     Task Context. Also matches Context value in Task Info when filtering by string.

·     Hyperlink. Also matches Hyperlinks Captions/Names when filtering by string.

·     Attachment. Also matches the Attachment Names when filtering by string..

·     Clearing the string filter. You can click the Clear  button on the right of the text input box to clear the filtering string.

·     Clearing all filter. To clear all filters currently applied to the map, click the Clear Filter button.

Notes: In the Standard Edition, this function is the same as the Clear button on the right of the text input box.
