Copying and pasting through the clipboard is the most frequently used method for sharing data
between programs in Windows. MindVisualizer has powerful clipboard support.
· Copy selected topic(s) to the clipboard. When the selected topic(s) are copied, you've got
the data in the following formats in the clipboard:
· Complete information of the selected topics, which can be used as the source for
duplicating topic(s).
· Indented and outlined text, each line is corresponding to a topic.
· An image snapshot of the selected topic(s), which can be used to be pasted as image
into other programs like MS Word or PowerPoint.
· Pasting to the map from the clipboard. What happens when you paste into the map
depends on the format of the data in the clipboard. The formats are handled in the following
order:
· If the clipboard contains completed data of topic(s), the data will be pasted as child
topic(s) of the currently selected topic.
· If the clipboard contains text, the text will be pasted as child topic(s) of the selected topic,
and MindVisualizer recognizes indents. When the clipboard text is too long,
MindVisualizer will ask you if you want to paste the text as text notes of the selected
topic.
· If the clipboard contains a bitmap image, the clipboard data will be pasted as the image
of the selected topic.
